Typical prices above already include supplies. Time is added for kids (15 to 30 min), pets or heavy pet hair (30 min) and each extra bathroom (30 min). Lighter homes can come in lower, heavier homes higher. No clean runs over 7 hours; bigger jobs are split into two visits.

Every home is quoted individually. Price depends on your home’s size and square footage, how much it needs, and which areas you want cleaned. Partial-home cleans are welcome: you only pay for what you need.

Serene Co. means two things: clean and calm. It was founded by Bella, a young Cincinnati entrepreneur who believes a clean home is where a calmer life starts. Every job gets the same care: on time, thorough, and done like it’s her own place.

Good questions

Do you bring supplies?

Yes, Serene Co. brings all its own supplies and equipment. Supplies are a small flat fee in your quote: $7 for upkeep cleans, $15 for deep, first and move-out cleans. If you prefer certain products (fragrance-free, pet-safe, your own favorites), just mention it when you send your request.

What areas do you serve?

Cincinnati and the surrounding area. Not sure if you’re in range? Send a request with your neighborhood and we’ll let you know.

When can I book?

We’re booking cleans from January 2027 onward. After your walk-through and $50 deposit, you pick an open day and start time on the calendar, and Bella confirms it.

How is the price decided?

Every home is quoted individually: the hours your home needs × $35/hr for upkeep or $45/hr for deep, first and move-out cleans, plus supplies ($7 or $15) and travel (free within 10 miles, then $1.50 a mile), rounded up to the next $5, with an $80 minimum. A typical 2-bedroom is about $95 for upkeep and $220 for a deep clean. Your exact quote comes after your walk-through (in person, or virtual with photos, videos or a video call). Partial-home cleans are welcome. The prices on this page are estimates.

My home hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Where do I start?

Usually with a deep clean to reset everything, then regular upkeep cleans to keep it that way. Your walk-through will tell us exactly what makes sense.

Do you have house rules?

Yes, a short and friendly set: pick up before your clean, add-ons only with your OK, a $50 deposit to book, 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule, and a few safety basics. You’ll read them right on the request form below, or open the House Rules as a page. Once your clean is booked, you’ll sign one Service Agreement with your clean, your price and these terms, and get a timestamped copy for your records.

Do I have to pay for a quote?

No. Quotes are free and don’t commit you to anything. Every quote starts with a walk-through: virtual walk-throughs (photos, videos or a video call) are always free, and in-person walk-throughs are free within 10 miles. Beyond 10 miles, an in-person walk-through has a $25 fee, credited toward your final bill if you book (kept if you don’t).

    1. 1Pick up before your clean

      Please pick up clutter, toys and clothes before your clean so we can focus on cleaning; tidying and laundry are available as add-ons.

      If pick-up is needed on the day, tidy time is billed at $35/hr, and only if you approve it.

    2. 2What’s included

      Upkeep clean: kitchen counters, sink, stovetop and appliance fronts; bathrooms; dusting reachable surfaces; vacuuming and mopping floors; emptying trash.

      Deep clean: everything in an upkeep clean, plus detail work like scrubbing grime and build-up, baseboards, doors and frames, and light switches. Inside fridge and oven are included with deep and move-in/out cleans; for upkeep cleans they're $30 each add-ons. Inside cabinets are an add-on.

      Decluttering and organizing (sorting, throwing away, putting things back with a system) is a separate service with its own custom quote.

    3. 3Add-ons

      Add-ons are only done when you approve them in writing: on this form or by text reply. Add-ons are priced as listed.

    4. 4Add-on & change approvals

      Any add-on or change on the day is confirmed with you by text before we start, and your written reply is kept as the record.

    5. 5Your quote: walk-through first

      Every new client starts with a walk-through so we can give you an exact quote. After we review your request, we’ll send you a private link to choose an in-person walk-through (15–20 minutes) or a virtual one (send photos or short videos, or set up a video call).

      Virtual walk-throughs are always free. In-person walk-throughs are free within 10 miles. Beyond 10 miles there’s a $25 walk-through fee, credited toward your final bill if you book. If you don’t book, the $25 is kept.

      After your walk-through, we send your final quote and a $50 deposit invoice. Once your deposit is paid, you pick your clean date.

      If your home’s condition is very different from what we saw in your walk-through, we’ll text you before continuing; any price change must be approved by you.

    6. 6First clean is a deep clean

      Every new home starts with a deep clean, unless it was professionally cleaned in the last 4 weeks. That keeps your regular cleans quick and affordable.

    7. 7Supplies & allergies

      Serene Co. brings all its own supplies. Please tell us about any allergies, sensitivities or products to avoid.

    8. 8Booking deposit

      A $50 deposit is required to book. It’s credited toward your clean.

      Your deposit is paid through the invoice or payment link Serene Co. sends you by text or email.

    9. 9Cancel or reschedule

      Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your clean and your deposit moves to your new date (or is refunded if you cancel).

      Less than 24 hours’ notice, a no-show, or if we can’t get in (lockout): the $50 deposit is kept.

      Recurring clients: the same 24-hour rule applies to every visit.

    10. 10Payment terms

      The balance is paid either on the day by card or tap-to-pay when your clean is finished, or by invoice sent by text or email.

      Invoices are due within 5 days. After 5 days, a $10 late fee is added, plus $5 for each additional day unpaid, up to a maximum of $50 in late fees.

      Unpaid balances must be paid before your next clean is scheduled.

      Payment options: card (paid through a secure Square invoice link), Zelle, or cash.

    11. 11Access & lockouts

      Please be home or arrange entry (a code, key or lockbox). If we can’t get in at the scheduled time, it counts as a lockout and the $50 deposit is kept (see Cancel or reschedule).

    12. 12Pets

      Please secure pets during your clean, or let us know how they do with visitors.

    13. 13Safety

      We don’t handle biohazards (bodily fluids, mold remediation, pest infestations), move heavy furniture, or climb above a step stool.

    14. 14Breakage & satisfaction

      If anything is broken or damaged, tell us within 24 hours.

      Not happy with an area? Tell us within 24 hours and we’ll come back to touch up what was missed.
